Richard Ramirez was dubbed “The Night Stalker” back in the mid-80’s when he was on a rape-murder spree in Los Angeles. Ramirez died today on death row at age 53, but the cause of his death is still unknown. “The Night Stalker” was sentenced to death in 1989 but due to appeals has been living on death row. He committed at least 13 murders, 11 sexual assaults, 5 attempted murders, and probably more by climbing into windows at night. A rep for San Quentin, where he was incarcerated, has stated that he died of natural causes but doctors believe the cause of death was Hepatits C which he contracted while in prison.
