More than 25 years ago the hit movie “Coming to America” with John Landis and Eddie Murphy, came to Queen’s and blessed what is now a landmark, the Wendy’s on Queens Boulevard- which is now on the verge of destruction!In the past few weeks, signs have been taken down and tables and chairs have been removed. Sources say that the land is being transformed into a $105 million site with luxury apartments above and stores on the ground level.
I’m sure to the actors in this movie and among many other people that this Wendy’s is much more than just a Wendy’s.
