He may be best off looking for a one-year deal with some team so he can prove himself worthy of a decent long-term contract next summer. If he’s really willing to play on the cheap, a sleeper spot could be the Miami Heat, who reportedly have been kicking the tires on another perpetually injured big man in Greg Oden.

Take the report with a grain salt, it’s really just something to think about.  Everyone knows the Heat needs to add size and if they’re actually considering Greg Oden then why not Bynum.  The only problem would be if Bynum is willing to play for cheap one-year or if he’ll actually receive a lucrative offer from a team during free agency.  We’ll just have to wait and see, July 1st kicks everything off.
