California Police are patiently waiting, imagine if they open it and it’s not what they think it is? Hit the jump for the full story!

The California Supreme Court decided that police needed a warrant to open a package that smelled like marijuana. But, Santa Barbara County prosecutors argued that packages should be searched using the “plain smell” logic, and extension of the “plain sight” rule which allows authorities to take and search anything clearly visible. Authorities were allowed to seize package, they just needed a warrant to open it. It’d be funny if their warrant request is denied.
