Yupp, that’s right. You’ll be able to see planetary triple play… Three planets visible in the clear sky. So which planets can you see??
During the next couple of mornings, Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury will be visible in the east-northeast sky. Wake up 75 minutes before local sunrise, and if the skies are clear you can see this planetary triple play. The planets will be stretched out in a diagonal line across the sky with Mercury in the lower left, Mars in the middle, and Jupiter in the upper right. Also, a sliver of a crescent moon will be appearing along side these planets.
So, wake up around 4:45 a.m. the next couple of days to see this spectacular triple play, and if you have a telescope, then there’s more of a reason to wake up this early!
