SONGS Music Publishing has announced a worldwide co-publishing agreement with singer The Weeknd, just days before the release of his forthcoming sophomore effort, Kiss Land. The latter will be included in the deal, as well as his previous platinum selling album, Trilogy.

“At SONGS we invest in people and we invest in music,” SONGS Founder and CEO, Matt Pincus, said in a statement. “On both counts we couldn’t have done better than Abel. He could have signed anywhere and it’s a tremendous honor that he has chosen to make his home at SONGS.”
