I don’t like to count pockets, but it looks like that contract extension money is going to come in handy after Paul George’s recent purchase!  He just bought every ticket for Fresno State’s home opener.  So what does he planning on doing with those tickets & how much did it cost him?!  Find out after the jump…

Via YahooSports:

George purchased the tickets for the Save Mart Center’s full 15,596-seat configuration.

All season ticket holders will have their same seats for the opener.

Fans will need to print off a voucher at http://imgur.com/8fxYsZm, then redeem those vouchers at the Save Mart Center ticket office. Vouchers are available immediately and are redeemable for one ticket each.

Let’s do some math. Adult tickets for Fresno State Bulldog men’s basketball games start at $17. So, just using that low figure – and again, prices do go up – we can estimate that George spent roughly $265,132 for the tickets.

“Fresno State at the Save Mart Center is one of the best facilities in college basketball,” George said. “If you’ve never seen it, never been to it, it’s almost an NBA arena. In my time, we never sold it out so I want those kids to have that experience to get a sold-out crowd and play in front of a full arena. I thought that was the best way to do it.”
