The Medgar Evers College Preparatory School was forced to shutdown after a “noxious odor” was released in a 6th grade classroom around noon, in an incident that police and school administration are still investigating. 8 students were sent to the hospital soon after the incident and two other student were later evaluated by private doctors due to the harmful smell.
Although the root of the smelly incident is still being investigated, school administration have already sent their threats of disciplinary action if necessary after the story unfolds.
This is not the first incident of schools falling victim to the Axe overload, as it seems to be a popular trend spreading from high school to high school, where students pretty much bathe in the fragrance, contaminating any potential source of fresh air. A Middletown CT High School experienced a false alarm literally, when their fire alarm went off after students began excessively spraying the Axe body spray. A Pennsylvania high school placed a ban on the fragrance after student was hospitalized due to the scent.
I get that the youth is out here trying to smell good after phys. ed., but come on you can not be out here forcing your scent on others. The moral of the story is simply, too much of anything can kill you!
