Earlier IFWT reported a shooting that occurred last night at Bryant Park’s skating rink. Police have found the suspect that left a teenager paralyzed and another man shot in his arm. To read more, click below.
The shooter has been identified as 16 year old Cory Dunton of the Bronx. Police report that they have him in custody at the Midtown South precinct house. The teenager, who is allegedly a Bloods gang member, refuses to answer any questions and asked for a lawyer. The shooting occurred after Dunton demanded victim, Javier Contreras coat. The two do not know each other. Dunton opened fire at the rink, shootin Contreras in the arm and a 14 year old boy in his back.
