Lady Gaga has spoken and she says that although she may have lost the support of those close to her, she has not lost the support of her Interscope label, who she states, fully supports he ARTPOP album. Hit the jump for more.
Lady Gaga took to a recent forum on her website little monsters, and discussed the facts behind the rumor of her ‘ARTPOP’ flopping, her label allegedly losing 25 million because of it and the supposed termination of many label employees. Gaga has stated that although she has received scrutiny because her ‘ARTPOP’ sales(258,000) did not do the numbers expected, it has been those who have turned their back on her, that have tainted her, not her home label, Interscope.
“I have lost love [sic] ones to the greed of money,” she wrote. “It is not interscope. They in fact love me very much and will see ‘ARTPOP’ to the end.”
She also stated;
“My heart breaks from the people I have trusted and loved who I’ve worked so closely with, who have used me, lied to me, worked me into the ground for the personal gain,” the singer wrote. “When I woke up in the hospital after my surgery there were many people that were not there. My health did not matter. I did not matter unless I could perform. This is a very hard lesson.” Billboard
The singer is currently dealing with the separation from her former manager, Tony Carter, above dealing with all of the criticism surrounding her.
