Justin Bieber going through legal woes and overall negative publicity, his one time collaborator Raekwon the Chef offered Bieber some advice about not only handling celebrity but growing into adulthood. Check out what the wordsmith had to say, below the jump.
Raekwon on handling fame
“Shorty, you got to be held accountable for the things that you do, you know what I mean. Don’t throw it all away for nothing. People love you because they see that you have something—you can’t. You got to show them that you won’t change as a person, but you’ll grow through experiences.”
Raekwon on going from a kid to a man
“Just be a little bit more cautious on how you do sh*t, you know. Don’t do your sh*t corny-looking; do it in a way that people respect that you’re getting older. He got paper he coolin’; he can have anything that he wants. Sometimes because of our success we let that go through our head, too. I like him, personally; that’s my guy. I wish him the best.”

Raekwon was humble and receptive to my fandom on stage at the tunnel party Friday night. Thank you Raekwon. It was an honor to speak with you although briefly. Just because I am a fly ass female doesn’t mean I’m a groupie. I am a fan of this music. Nigga’s entourages need to get out they feelings. Sheesh! I’m talking to you Jimmy!
