Kanye West and American Psycho writer, Bret Easton Ellis are in the works on a big project. In up-coming months, we’re sure to get more details on the a possible film, centered around Yeezus.
The two got together last year, for a lengthy podcast interview and from that point on, it’s been Yeezus bliss.
Find out what Ellis had to say about the project, after the jump.
“You know what, I can’t,” Ellis said, when asked if he could provide details on the film project. “It’s in Kanye Land, and that’s subject to a whole other time frame. He came and asked me to write the film. I didn’t want to at first. Then I listened to Yeezus. It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He’d given me an advance copy, and I thought, regardless of whether I’m right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this. So fuck it, I said yes. And that’s how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We’ll see what happens.”
We’re thinking that short-film, back in June was a hint as to what’s to come. Hmmmm, interesting…..
