Nick Cannon’s name is hardly synonymous with anything ‘gangsta’ at all, but the comedian actually has a past that was closely affiliated to gang violence. In a new interview, Nick revealed that his southeast San Diego neighborhood had quite a few Bloods in the area as he was growing up, and he’d be outfitted in red regularly. After many of his friends were shot and killed, and Nick himself even being shot, he gave up the street life and pursued acting following a call from Nickelodeon. The rest is history.
