Just a few days ago, Kanye West announced that he’d be postponing the Australian leg of his Yeezus tour until September, with the reason cited from Live Nation being “due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album.” This kind of hit everyone by surprise, but now a new report may shed some light on it!

Kim and Kanye are set to tie the knot in France on May 24th – and they JUST recently learned that French law requires a 40-day residency requirement prior to any wedding! This law cannot be bent in any form, so that’s more than likely what Kanye will be doing…not actually working on an album. Although, he can do that too.

“Kim and Kanye were unaware until recently that France required a residency requirement prior to the marriage,” a Kardashian source said. “Kanye has an apartment in Paris, but he doesn’t live there full-time.”
