Drake is being currently being sued by the estate of Jimmy Smith. The lawsuit is for the intro of Drake’s “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2.” They are claiming the song begins with a 35 second monologue from a 1982 song “Jimmy Smith Rap” and was used without persmission.
