One lucky (and rich) person paid $1.5 million dollars to take a trip to space with the actor. This auction was part of The Cinema Against AIDS Gala, which raises money for HIV/AIDS research. Aside from DiCaprio’s space trip, an Andy Warhol painting of Marilyn Monroe, a Pablo Picasso painting, and a 10,000 year old fossil dipped in steel was also auctioned off!
