According to authorities, a six-car accident left actor Tracy Morgan in critical condition in New Jersey early Saturday morning.
CNN reports that Morgan was riding in a limo bus when the accident occurred in Mercer County, said Sgt. Gregory William of New Jersey State Police.
The wreck also involved two tractor-trailers and an SUV, he said. He did not provide specifics on what happened.
One person was killed and four others hospitalized with injuries, authorities said.
Peter Haigney, a spokesman for the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, said four patients are getting treated at the hospital, with three being in critical condition and one in fair condition.
Haigney was not allowed to confirm whether the actor was one of the patients in critical condition due to HIPPA and privacy laws, but did say a man by the name Tracy Morgan was being treated there. His identity was later confirmed by state police to CNN.
Morgan had performed Friday night at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, Delaware, the venue said.
