Questlove and Black Thought of the legendary group The Roots, have taken to HuffingtonPost to discuss their reason for taking the position as Jimmy Fallon’s live band and it didn’t take them longer than 20 minutes to figure it out!

Questlove reveals that a big part of the reason the crew took the gig was for stability, a way to still make the money that can be made touring, while staying in one place. He then stated the benefits of working on the show including the art of perfection and the negatives being that there are times they do miss being on the road.
