Drake has openly displayed his affections for WNBA player Skylar Diggins despite the fact that she has a boyfriend. Even after Diggins’ boyfriend put Drake on blast by @’ing him in a picture of the two kissing, Drake still didn’t let up and posted a picture of himself rocking a Diggins shirt. Now that Drake is hosting the 2014 ESPYS on Wednesday he might finally get his chance to meet her but he thinks Diggins’ boyfriend won’t allow it to happen.
In the same conference call where he said he would get a home in Cleveland to watch LeBron James, Andrew Wiggins and Johnny Manziel, Drake also spoke on Skylar Diggins via Complex.
When asked if he was anxious to meet any athletes he addressed his perceived infatuation with Skylar Diggins: “I’ve never met Skylar, but I’m sure it’ll be extremely awkward if she does show up. She probably won’t though…her boyfriend will probably have her tied down to a chair that night.”
I’m sure Skylar won’t miss the ESPYS but I’m also sure her boyfriend won’t let her get near Drake lol.
