All attention turned to Paul George’s devastating leg injury during Team USA’s scrimmage Friday night, but prior to that all eyes were on Derrick Rose. Much of the practices focused on Rose’s return and if he had indeed returned back to his previous form after two major knee injuries. Rose got the most cheers and the bulk of the attention from the fans in attendance, and at least early on, he did not disappoint.
Rose showed glimpses of his old game with quick moves to the basket and a two-handed dunk that got the crowd roaring.
