According to reports, 73-year-old Andres Carrasco was assaulted by an agent of Adriana’s Insurance company. Afterwards, he sued — and won. According to an NBC report, agents from the Los Angeles-based Insurance company paid Carrasco the settlement with a check but also several five-gallon buckets brimming with $21,000 in coins. As per NBC, The company agreed to settle in June, and when it came time to pay up, eight of the company’s workers visited Carrasco’s lawyer’s office in a van, lugged the jugs of chump change into the waiting room and then split.
“Adriana’s Insurance, is this the way you treat everyone?” said Carrasco. “Why don’t you like your clients? I am disappointed by the way Adriana’s treats their customers and the elderly.”
