The death of Joan Rivers has been a great lose to the nation, especially those who enjoyed her comedy. One can believe why the Clinic, Mount Sinai, is under major scrutiny. Reports are coming in that the doctor responsible for performing her procedure was asked and did step down.

Dr. Lawrence Cohen was asked by Yorkville Endoscopy to step down from his position as Medical Director and Gastroenterologist.

Even though the clinic is claiming to not be directly blaming Cohen, he was asked to step down.
A statement was given to ABC News saying Cohen

“is not currently performing procedures at Yorkville Endoscopy; nor is he currently serving as medical director,”
