The regular NBA season doesn’t tip off until the end of October, but we already have some good trash talking going on!!   Wizards baller Bradley Beal told reporters yesterday that he and John Wall are “definitely the best backcourt in the league.”  Cavs guard Dion Waiters heard that statement and strongly disagreed.  Well John Wall has now stepped in & stuck up for his teammate and clowned Waiters.  I can’t help but to love all this!! #ILoveThisGame
Check out what each of the players had to say & stay tuned — I’m sure this isn’t over yet….

Dion Waiters begs to differ with Beal.  “That’s nonsense,” Waiters said after practice Tuesday. “(Beal is) supposed to say that, but I know deep down, he’s not messing with me and Ky (Kyrie Irving). I think me and Ky are the best backcourt, young backcourt. That’s all.”

Via SlamOnline:

John Wall stuck up for his teammate Tuesday, and clowned Waiters for coming off the bench and not making the Playoffs. Kyrie Irving, please step to the plate, sir.

Per the Washington Times:

Circle Friday, Nov. 21 on your calendar. […] That evening, the Washington Wizards and the Cleveland Cavaliers will play for the first time this season. And both teams’ backcourts will attempt to back up bold words that they’ve exchanged over the past two days.

“[The Cavaliers] haven’t seen a playoff game yet, so when they make one, they can start talking,” Wall said.

“If you’re going to be the best backcourt, you have to start,” Wall said. “This is the year [Waiters is] probably starting, so let’s see if they’re the best backcourt.”
