The Brooklyn Nets will hold their open practice on October 26th at 11 A.M. at Barclays Center but they decided to put a twist on things.

via The Brooklyn Game:

The team wants to set a Guinness World Record for the largest game of “Knockout” ever recorded, by inviting any and all fans attending the practice to play. According to the Nets, the current record sits at 581 participants.

If you’re attending the practice and want to register for the game, you can e-mail [email protected] to sign up. Though, perhaps ironically for a game that’s supposed to set a world record for participation, they stress that there’s “(l)imited space available – first come, first serve.”

It’s not clear if the team’s players will participate in the game. If they are, just hope you’re not the guy in front of Kevin Garnett.
