Tracy Morgan is in good spirits, but is visibly still recovering from his massive car accident that landed him in the ICU this past June. The 46-year-old comedian was spotting on Wednesday (December 4) in New Jersey for the first time since leaving the hospital with the help of a walker.
Last month, Morgan’s lawyer, Benedict Morelli, revealed that the 30 Rock alum is still struggling with recovery. He’s still undergoing physical therapy for a broken leg, broken femur, broken nose, and broken ribs. Despite the long road to a full recovery, his lawyer says that Morgan is doing much better.
“Mr. Morgan is a fighter,” Morelli told reporters outside a federal courthouse in Trenton, New Jersey, after attending a meeting with Walmart’s attorneys. “He’s fighting to get better. If there’s a chance to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he is going to try to do that. We just don’t know. But is he doing much better? He’s doing better,” the star’s lawyer said.
Morgan’s has filed a lawsuit against Walmart claiming the company was “careless and negligent in the ownership and operation of its motor vehicle, which caused Mr. Morgan to suffer severe personal injuries.” Walmart has since filed a countersuit, faulting Morgan for not wearing a seatbelt, US Magazine reports.
