You can either call it irony or a fitting ending but DeSean Jackson was vital in the Washington Redskins upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.  The loss further killed the Eagles playoff hopes and if the Cowboys beat the Colts today, they’re done.  The former Eagles wide receiver decided to have some fun at the expense of his old team.

After the big win, Jackson mocked Philadelphia’s “Eagles Fly” dance while in the tunnel on his way to the Washington locker room. According to Jeff McLane from The Philadelphia Inquirer, Jackson had some interesting words as he mocked the dance, “Get the f-ing Birds out of here.”

Chris Wesseling from NFL.com provided some additional information about Jackson’s relationship with his former team after the game, saying:

To the surprise of no one, he had some choice words for the Eagles and their questionable strategy of leaving Fletcher on an island against the game’s most dangerous deep threat.

“I have been there the past couple years, that’s how they play,” Jackson said. “They’re very naive and they play how they play. … They have witnessed a lot players, wide receivers and tight ends, get off for some huge games on them. I’m just happy to be on this side and be able to send them home with a loss.”

Jackson also disclosed that he still has a good relationship with many former teammates, who are “constantly” telling him how much they miss him.
