The 2015 NBA All-Star weekend in New York City is about two and a half weeks away and the names for All-Star Saturday are slowly beginning to leak.  A few of the names for the Dunk Contest have come out including Mason Plumlee, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Oladipo and possibly Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine.  Now we have names for the three-point contest.

The Golden State Warriors’ backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson plan to participate in the NBA’s three-point shooting contest during All-Star Weekend in New York, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Atlanta’s Kyle Korver, Portland’s Wesley Matthews, and the Los Angeles Clippers’J.J. Redick are among the six players set for the contest on Feb. 14 at the Barclays Center, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Marco Belinelli won last year so he could compete to defend his title and fill in the last remaining spot.  Some other names in the mix include Bradley Beal, Mike Conley, James Harden and Damian Lillard.  While the Splash Brothers of Curry and Thompson would be the favorites, it’s important to note that the best in game shooters usually don’t do as well in the format of the contest.  Who knows maybe it’ll change this year.
