The annual argument of who got snubbed for the NBA All-Star game is once again upon us. The league at this point is just too loaded with great talent which makes it impossible to make everyone happy around this time of year. Fans vote the starters, but coaches vote for the reserves and as usual both benches are full of the cream of the crop in the NBA. Of course, there were a few worthy players that had to be left off just due to roster spots, but you can’t really argue either way.

Ok, so first off for the East squad, Lebron, Melo, Pau Gasol, John Wall & Kyle Lowry are the starters. Coming off the bench for the East will be Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving and then three players from the conference leading Hawks with Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap and Al Horford making the team.

For the West we have Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis as starters. Now Kobe will be replaced due to injury and we will find out who was added in his spot. As far as the reserves we have LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, James Harden and Russell Westbrook round out the reserves.

As you can see both teams are loaded but there were some worthy players like Damian Lillard, DeMarcus Cousins, Zach Randolph and Kyle Korver leading the way of players snubbed. It stinks to have the situation be like this but when you look at the rosters there really isn’t anyone to argue about as far as not deserving the spot themselves. Every year there are more than 24 all-star worthy players but just not enough spots.
