The Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is set for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  Trash talk and hype for the mega fight has already begun but it’s mostly Pacquiao’s camp sending out the verbal insults.  Legendary trainer Freddie Roach and his flare for trash talk is as well known as his boxing expertise.  Fight Hub posted a video of an interview with Roach and he delivered some information on Mayweather’s training.

As I posted recently, Floyd Mayweather has been training hard, posting videos of him jumping rope, chopping wood, running and hitting the punching bag.  The only thing not posted on video is the sparring matches he’s done in preparation for Pacquiao.

Well there may be a reason for that… According to Roach, he’s heard that Mayweather got “the shit beat out of him two days in a row” by one of the young boys in Mexico that he’s sparring with.

You can watch the whole interview or for the Mayweather quote fast forward to the 1:15 mark.

Mayweather is undefeated in the professional boxing classes but he’s not unbeatable.  I think people consider the two synonymous when they’re not.  Now I’m not saying that Pacquiao will beat him but it’s definitely not impossible.
