The bitter court dispute between Sherri Shepard and her ex-husband to be has finally come to an end. Shepard has lost the battle, and is legally listed as the mother on the birth certificate of a child born by a surrogate mother.
Since the child was born in August, Shepard has been fighting to cut all ties and responsibility for the child. She claims she was fooled into having a child with her former husband Lamar Sally and he is just looking for a handout. A judge in Pennsylvania, has ruled however, that Shepard’s name does belong on the birth certificate.
Shepard was absent from the ruling but is still required to meet with a judge in L.A. to set up the child support payments.
Sally wants Shepard to help take care of the child. He told TMZ, “I want her to go on television and apologize the same way that she went on there and accused me of being a gold digger and tricking her into having a baby.”
Shepard might have lost this battle but it seems like this war is far from over.
