The protest in Tel Aviv over police brutality of Ethiopian Jews has turned violent Sunday. According to police officers, 57 officers were injured. Read more about this issue after the jump.

Although most of the injuries were minor, this has elevated the problems in the area more. About 12 protesters have been injured also, only there isn’t any information on how serious their injuries are. The protest have been peaceful for over a couple of hours before it turned violent.

The authorities have hired horses, brought out water cannons and smoke to get rid of the crowd in Rabin Square, where people have been saying phrases such as “a violent cop should be in jail.”
