Since Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals is on the way, this week’s edition of TBT Kicks will give a recap of the shoes LeBron James wore for his first Finals appearance, the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 1. Read more about this shoe after the jump.
The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 1 is a pretty intricate shoe. Although it is not counted in the initial LeBron signature line, the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier is the beginning of the “Soldier” signature line. This shoe consists of a double strap setup, lined with a leather upper. The Zoom Air technology in the Soldier line shows the difference between the LeBron line because makes the shoe very comfortable to ball in.
LeBron James wore the Nike Zoom Soldier 1 during his first trip to the NBA Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers faced the San Antonio Spurs for the NBA Championship. Although LeBron averaged 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the series, it was not enough to stop Tim Duncan and the Spurs, who were victorious and easily took the series 4-0 against LeBron and the Cavs.
