With all the characters being announced and who will be playing them, there was a lot of speculation that Rapper/Actor Common would be playing black manta, but a certain photo says other wise.
So who is he really playing then? It seems like Common is set out to play Abel Tarrant aka The Tattooed Man the archenemy of the Green Lantern. Based on the DC comics Tattooed Man has the power to turn his tattoos into weapons , not bad depending what kind of tattoos he has. Although from the pic above it seems like he’s got some unique ink. The movie is set out to be released in August of next year.
