The Straight Outta Compton Film opened at an estimate $24.2 million in 2,754 North American Theaters. Those projections well exceeded any other movie on Friday (August 14th). The Straight Outta Compton film is also on track to incur revenue in the high $50-million range, blowing past pre-release estimates. Thursday night early screening pulled in an estimate $4.96 million, also doing much better then any other film debuting at the same time.
