According to the complaint in the court documents, between 2010 and 2013, Fogle traveled back and forth from his Indiana home to New York City to engage in sex with minors. The complaint also states that he paid for the sex and in text messages he said, he wouldn’t mind a 16 year-old girl but “the younger the girl, the better.” Fogle also asked several of the victims to send him photos of themselves.
After, a more thorough investigation, the feds found photos and videos of boys and girls but it is still unclear the gender of the victims he had sex with. They also found photos sent to Fogle by his business partner, Russell Taylor, who was the head of Jared’s Foundation. The photos featured children as young as six captured from a hidden camera in Taylor’s home.
Jared Fogle turned himself into the FBI today and is being processed. Fogle took the plea deal and will be required to serve at least five years in prison and register as a sex offender. He will also be required to participate in a sexual disorders program, surrender his computers to random checks, and cannot hold meetings with minors without supervision. Fogle will have to 1.4 million dollars in restitution which works out to be about 100,000 per victim.
