UPDATE: Jared Fogle was just slammed by the judge in court. Although his plea deal called for the maximum sentence of 12 1/2 years, Fogle was just sentenced to 15.6 years in prison. He’s headed to federal prison so he’ll be required to serve 85% of his time (just over 13 years). When he gets out he’ll bye 51 years old and on lifetime supervised release. ORIGINAL: Jared Fogle and his team of lawyers are really doing everything they can to make sure Fogle gets the minimum prison sentence of five years for paying to have sex with minors. Just last week Fogle asked the judge to cut him some slack because his 15 and 16 year-old victims were not too far off from legal age. Wait, What? EX-Subway Guy Jared Fogle Asking For The Minimum Punishment Because His Victims Were Almost Legal
While Indiana prosecutors fight for former Subway spokesperson, Jared Fogle, to receive the maximum sentence of 12 1/2 years for paying to have sex with minors, he’s pleading with the Judge for the minimum because his victims were 16 and 17 years-old. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Fogle is asking for the minimum sentence of five years. He pleads his case saying, while it was “inexcusable” to engage in sex with minors, “these individuals were far older than many victims of this same crime.” SHM. Read more below.
Subway Guy Jared Fogle Charged With Soliciting Sex With Minors
As more and more information comes out about Subway guy, Jared Fogle the worse the situation seems to be. Today, Fogle was charged with “travel to engage in elicit sexual conduct with minors.” This charge comes almost a month after his home was raided by police in search of child pornography, only to have found nothing, however shortly after, police turned up text messages between Fogle and an associate that indicate that he paid to have sex with minors.
