The Dallas Cowboys suffered a big blow last night after an MRI revealed cornerback Orlando Scandrick tore both the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his right knee, and will miss the entire 2015-16 season.

He will undergo surgery after an MRI exam revealed Scandrick had torn the two ligaments in practice at training camp Tuesday, an injury that will leave the Cowboys with a gaping hole in their secondary.

The 28-year old Scandrick said in another text to ESPN: “I’ll be back, and I’ll be better than ever.”

Scandrick’s knee buckled as he broke on a pass intended for rookie receiver Lucky Whitehead, whose momentum carried him into the cornerback, who was already going to the ground. Scandrick needed to be carted off the field.  He covered his face with a towel but was seen crying.

His girlfriend Draya was on hand to show comfort but she set everyone off on social media.  People were already (stupidly) blaming Scandrick’s injury on her; but then she made things worse by posting his MRI on her Instagram account.  Many people claim she was violating his rights and looking for attention at a really bad time.  The photo has since been removed from her account.
