I don’t know about you but this is some of the best information I’ve read all day. In a recent interview with Variety, content president of Nickelodeon, Russell Hicks announced that the station is looking for ways to bring back the classic 90s shows. This would include quite a few of my personal faves, like Hey Arnold!, Rugrats and Doug.

Hicks said, “We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way.” Within this new plan the network may look to experiment with revamped version of the classic programs such as Rugrats and Hey Arnold! The shows may not come back to TV as a complete series but possibly in other ways like specials or movies and mostly would not take over what’s already programmed for the network. (Hey, something’s better than nothing right?)

Hicks declined to open up about which shows exactly would be getting a re-boot but did say that Nickelodeon is aware that the generation who watched the channel from the beginning now have children of their own. He said, “We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones they’ve told us multiple times they want to have brought back.”

What 90s Nickelodeon classic would you want to see brought back? Sound off in the comments.
