Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar! The west coast rapper is set to make his orchestra debut in Washington, D.C. next month. According to an announcement made my the National Symphony Orchestra, Kendrick Lamar will perform selections of his latest album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” with the help of the NSO Pops on October 20th.

The performance is one night only and will be directed by Steven Reineke,the principal pops conductor for the orchestra, who is well known for incorporating popular music with classical. This will be a must-see performance. Check out all the information about ticket sales here.
