Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have quite successful careers in the pop world, and apparently, they can thank Jay Z for a big part of that. According to reports, Hov’s Roc Nation imprint merged with Philymack last year – the management company that represents both Demi and Nick.

Apparently, Jay took a “keen interest” in both singers, and personally orchestrated some major looks for them – including Nick’s infamous Flaunt magazine cover (the one in his underwear,) and Demi’s spread in Vanity Fair and appearance on SNL.

Here’s the funny part about the partnership, though: they were supposed to make the announcement months ago, but after TIDAL flopped, they decided to hold off a bit. Cold world.
