At one point during his speech the Obama wiped away tears as he talked about the children who died during the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He said, “Every time I think about those kids it makes me mad.”

He continued, calling the tragedy “the worst day of my presidency” and in an effort to prevent it ever happening again the POTUS rolled out the new rules as par of his plan. President Obama addressed the nation saying we must “feel a sense of urgency” on gun policy reform.
