Everyone seems to be throwing in their opinion on the whole Stacy Dash story. Dash recently made a statement that TV shows like “BET” and NAACP Image Awards should be eliminated. BET became Petty Wap by asking Dash if they could have their checks back for her appearance on one of their shows. They even played a Kanye West video that Dash was in and put “#NeverForget” at the top! Dash clapped back at BET. Waka Flocka recently gave his input on the situation by saying he partly agrees with Dash.
Waka released a statement saying,
“I can say Stacey Dash is wrong and she’s right. But how she said it, she couldn’t break down what she was trying to explain. But honestly, I always felt like that. We got BET. BET is for black people. [Does that mean] MTV’s for white people? Think about it. Why the f*** do we have black history month but only in February. How can the people that took our history give us our history, but only for one month?”
