IFWT_Cam_MVP
What we already knew was going to happen became official tonight as Cam Newton was named the 2015 NFL MVP! Nobody would have expected the Panthers to be in the position they are in at the beginning of the year. The team really had no weapons but as it turns out, they only needed one.

@IamJoeSports

Cam was voted both offensive player of the year as well as the bigger MVP award. In the end the voting wasn’t even close as he got 48 of the 50 first place votes. Tom Brady & Carson Palmer each received one.

Newton threw for 3,837 yards and 35 touchdowns, while also adding 636 yards on the ground and 10 rushing touchdowns. He only threw 10 interceptions and compiled a quarterback rating of 99.4, both career-best marks.

Cam’s coach, Ron Rivera took home coach of the year honors, while Rams rookie Todd Gurley took home offensive rookie of the year.

Texans JJ Watt was named NFL defensive player of the year and Chiefs defensive back Marcus Peters was defensive rookie of the year.

Congrats to all the winners!
