Ke$ha has been getting tons of support from fans and peers as she battles her alleged abuser Dr. Luke in court, in an attempt to get out of any contracts legally-binding her to him. Though it’s clear that the pop singer wants nothing to do with the famed producer because of their history, it has been unclear exactly why she wants out of her Sony Records contract, as even the judge ruled that she can merely work with other producers under the Sony umbrella – something that Luke himself echoed while speaking out on Twitter. During his same mini-rant, he accused Ke$ha of doing this simply to renegotiate a bigger, more lucrative contract, and now she has decided to clear the air.

Taking to Facebook, the “TiK ToK” singer explained what it is she is trying to do, while also thanking everyone for the support thus far. Check out the lengthy post before. We’re rooting for you, boo!

This case has never been about a renegotiation of my record contract – it was never about getting a bigger, or a better deal. This is about being free from my abuser. I would be willing to work with Sony if they do the right thing and break all ties that bind me to my abuser.”
