You may be familiar with FilmOn TV – the streaming service owned by billionaire Alki David, who signed Chief Keef to a [troubled] deal, and also runs the hologram company that brought Tupac to life at Coachella a few years back. They’ve now struck a multi-year deal with Emmis Communications, and will be streaming Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert, starting with this year’s event.

According to a press release, this deal also gives FilmOn the rights to host a new Who’s Next competition, where fans will vote for artists to be showcased at Summer Jam. The winner of the contest will also receive a record deal with with FilmOn Music.

Summer Jam 2016 goes down June 5 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Stay tuned for an announcement on the lineup in the coming weeks!
