Donald Trump has came out with his healthcare reform plan. He says he will repeal Barack Obama’s ‘Obamacare’ and replace it. Trump says it “has tragically but predictably resulted in runaway costs, websites that don’t work, greater rationing of care, higher premiums, less competition and fewer choices.”
Along with taking away Obamacare, Trump says he wants congress to “step away from the special interests and do what is right for America” by allowing people to buy “imported, safe and dependable drugs from overseas.” He also will allow people to purchase insurance across state lines. Trump asks congress to block-grant Medicaid. By doing this, he will block federal funding by billions which truly is not fair to people who don’t have alot of money. He says,
“Our elected representatives in the House and Senate must allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system.”
All I can say is, if this man gets in office, a lot of us are screwed.
