This teen decided to sell papers as soon as he was able to. He didn’t want his single-mother to pay for his tuition and he also didn’t want to take out loans. That’s a pretty good mindset for a 12 year-old, if you ask me.
He sells them as the same intersection every Sunday. He makes 200 bucks for selling each newspaper for 1$! It’s crazy how it all added up because now he has enough money to pay for Tennessee State University, which he got accepted to. His message to people in the same position as him?
“Make sure you surround yourself with people that’s trying to go up in life and not trying to bring you down. Just stay positive and always believe in yourself and push for it.”
