Michael Jace has now been sentenced to 40 years to life for the murder of his wife April Jace. Jace killed his wife while his children were in the home.
Before Jace was sentenced, he apologized to his wife’s family saying,
“There were no justifications for his actions.”
He claims he just wanted to hurt her not kill her. The jury changed their verdict from first-degree murder to second due to the fact that there was no premeditated intentions found.
