Along with 50 Cent being one of the best rappers in the game at one point in his career to executive producing his hit show “Power”, he’s also one of the greatest people at throwing shade and being petty. He showed that in a recent interview with Muscle & Fitness magazine.
“Empire just borrows marketing ideas from Power because they have the same target audience,” 50 said. “I’ve said it over and over: I don’t have a problem with the cast, I think that they’re going to be great in some of my new projects.”
Taraji P. Henson wasn’t too fond of the shade thrown though, she had her own words for the EP of Power.
“I’ll advise ‘cause I am proud of your accomplishments black man,” Henson said in a reply to a September comment about 50 Cent. “Maybe your karma is blocking your blessings.”
Empire has declined in viewership significantly since the premier of season 3. A 39% decline to be exact since season 2.
