The rumor mill is still churning as to whether or not a full Patriots team will visit the White House post-Superbowl win. James White for one is still undecided.
The guy who scored the winning touchdown was in NYC recently and TMZ got the chance to ask him a few questions. Of course the # 1 question was whether or not he would be joining his teammates at the White House. This would be the team minus the 6 players that already confirmed that they will not be in attendance.
White advised that he is still on the fence about the visit, but he is clear on relaxation, massages, and getting back to working out.
What are your thoughts on the White House visit? Optional like Tom Brady did with former President Obama or respectfully mandatory since The Donald is Tommy’s BFF?
Optional. If they make it mandatory, they’re doing one or two things. 1. Announcing that Tom is above them all (I’m sure he is). 2. Enforcing that the friendship is so strong that they will not allow his team to disrespect his friend. But let’s be honest, Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, Gronk and Tom are the only sure skilled positions. All those other guys like Bennet, White, and Blount are expendable. Those are the guys they get rid of if they stir anything up or if they want a good contract. Check their history.
